The PONNAIYAH RAMAJAYAM PUBLIC SCHOOL is run by the PRIST Trust with the mission to create "Quality & Discipline" from Kumbakonam . It was established in 2011. The institution has received N.O.C from Tamil Nadu government on 26.09.2014 and N.O.C Number is L.Dis No 76637/G1/S1/2014 . It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Affiliation Number is 1930579 and School Number is 55460.The affiliation is granted on 26.09.2014 and it has been extended up to 31.03.2020. The school is to prepare the children academically train them physically and hone them mentally enable them enter into any walk of life and to make them release and preserve the invaluable tradition and culture of our country.

The school is to develop the students in an intellectual curiosity, an eagerness for continue learning and the ability to use their knowledge for creative purposes. It is to help the students to discover their potential and channelize them to form integrated personalities.

The instruction in school is transmitted through English. Tamil and Hindi are also taught. The student is expected to achieve proficiency in all the three languages. The school prepares students for All India Secondary School Examination and also All India Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
